What is Chronos?

Chronos is an annual calendar app that displays your entire year at a glance. Unlike traditional calendar apps that show one day, week, or month at a time, Chronos lets you see all 12 months simultaneously, helping you understand patterns, plan long-term, and visualize your time in a completely new way.

Which devices does Chronos support?

Chronos is available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Your events and categories sync automatically via iCloud across all your Apple devices. We're considering Android and other platforms for future releases.

Is my data private?

Absolutely. Chronos stores all your data locally on your device and syncs only through your private iCloud account. We don't have access to your events, and we don't collect any personal information. Your calendar data never touches our servers.

Does Chronos sync with Apple Calendar or Google Calendar?

Currently, Chronos is a standalone calendar designed for annual planning. It doesn't sync with other calendar apps. We've designed it this way to provide a focused, clutter-free experience for long-term planning. Integration with other calendars may be considered for future updates.

How do I create events?

Simply tap on any day in the calendar view to create a new event. You can set the event title, choose a category (with custom colors and icons), add notes, and specify if it spans multiple days. Events appear as colored bars on your calendar, making it easy to see your schedule at a glance.

Can I view different years?

Yes! The current year is free to use. Additional years (past and future) can be unlocked through in-app purchases. This allows you to plan ahead or review past events while keeping the app sustainable.

What's the difference between Fixed Week and Date Grid layouts?

Fixed Week layout aligns all months so that weekdays line up vertically, making it easy to see patterns like "every Tuesday" across the year. Date Grid layout aligns by date numbers (1-31), which is useful for tracking monthly deadlines or recurring monthly events. You can switch between layouts anytime in Settings.

How do I restore my purchases on a new device?

Open the app, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. If you have any issues, contact us at support@chronosapp.net.

I found a bug or have a feature request. How do I report it?

We'd love to hear from you! Please email us at support@chronosapp.net with details about the bug or your feature idea. Include your device model and iOS/macOS version if reporting a bug. Your feedback helps us make Chronos better for everyone.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual events by tapping on them and selecting "Delete." To remove all data, you can uninstall the app, which will delete all local data. If you have iCloud sync enabled, you may also need to delete the Chronos data from iCloud via your device's Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage.
